"Tegan is perfect. If two syllables is too long for you, though, T is fine as well."

"Positively ancient. Somewhere in the range of five or maybe even six thousand."

"Alaina Beaton? Yeah, I get stopped for autographs sometimes. God, I wish I could scream like her."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Well! In case you haven't heard yet, to the Gaelics, I was a goddess. Goddess of the Sea, more precisely, so it goes without saying that I like water. But, in addition to being tied to the sea, I was also the 'deity' tied with youth, women, and 'worldly pleasures.' Care to guess why? I am QUITE fond of all three, which makes the fact that I don't age quite a relief. I mean, can you imagine a goddess of youth being an old woman? I don't think so. Anyways, back on topic; worldly pleasures. Ooooh yeah. They're wonderful. Everything sensory, taste, touch, smell, sight, hearing...anything that pleases any one of the senses, I'm fairly sure to like. Dancing, I love dancing...oh, and sex. That one's a definite favorite. Don't care much for gender, as long as they're pretty. Hmm, what else, what else....I like attention. Though I prefer it to be of the positive variety. Mm, and birds. They're just gorgeous creatures, don't you think?"
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"Being told what to do. Yeah, I'm a bit immature. It's kind of why I'm off, doing my own thing, rather than helping a specific cause, like most faeries like me do. I don't really like being alone, I'm a social creature, after all. And, well, I can't stand being ignored. Few years of life as a goddess will have that effect on people."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Greatest fear...greatest fear...hmm. Well, dying, I suppose. Dying for good, that is. We're pretty tough to kill, we are."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Not really. I mean, I've got all I really want. Maybe to find something to do, really do like the Fairy Godmothers and Fathers, or the fairies that can grant wishes and provide guidance...but that day's still a good ways away. I'm not ready to settle down yet. No way in hell."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"Well, I'm a faery. Faery royalty, actually. But don't get too excited. It's not all that special. Just means we come from a particularly strong, or pure bloodline. There's not really any monarchy, so I can't really boss anyone around or anything, but it's a pretty fun title to have. Anyways, since you already asked, you should already know that I've been around a long time. A loooooong time. Even I don't really know how old I am. Kind of weird, isn't it?
Well, anyways, I'm a bit immature. But, really now, what would you expect from someone who was once quite literally the goddess of 'worldly pleasures?' I did act much more seriously back in the day, when I was married, and when I was a 'goddess.' So don't think I'm not capable. I just choose not to. It makes life all the more fun. I've got a bit of a tendency to be impulsive, and Igive intolisten to my instincts more than most people. So, in some ways, I can be a bit of a stereotype. Like the "fact" that faeries like sweets and shiny things. A lot of us would be offended, but I embrace it. It is true, after all. It also means, that despite all my immaturity and short comings, that I'm inherently good. I do like to help people...It just doesn't get to happen all that often.
Oh, and that thing about faeries liking to lift things? That one's true too. ;]"

» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"Where am I from? You mean, like originally? Oh gods, that's a tough one. Y'see, my memories only go back so far...and the father back they go, the fuzzier they get. There was somewhere...years and years ago. It wasn't quite earth, that much is for sure. It was way back when humans were...well, a bit primitive. I think that must have been where I was from, especially since there weren't any humans around at all. Other types of 'mythical creatures' and the like, sure. It was...nice, I think."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"I do have one sister, Leigh. Or as far as we can tell, we're sisters. You see, we're connected by this...kind of energy. Only certain types can see it, but when we're close to each other, it looks like we're tied together by a kind of glowing gold chain. Anyways, crazy stuff aside, I love her to death. She's amazing, and has helped me out of more than a few tight spots back in the day."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"My husband leaving me. Years and years ago, back in my days as a goddess, I was married to the god of the sea. And not 'a god' like I was 'a goddess,' but THE God of the Sea. He was wonderful, if a bit rough around the edges. Being as naive as I was back then, I assumed the relationship would last forever. But, clearly, it didn't. I...can't quite remember what happened after he left...I was attacked by people wanting to control the sea in his absence...but then? There's just this gaping hole in my memory. Hmmm."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"I firmly believe that the best is still to come. Although being worshiped wasn't half bad."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Right now? I'm enjoying life in Faraway. Not many places left that magic beings like me can life openly and freely. Most people don't believe in us, just call us crazy... And those that do, well...lots of them are just out for their own damn profit, and couldn't care less about what they do to us to get it. Trust me, I've seen my kind locked away, and farmed for magic. But, yeah. Faraway. I've managed to get myself a job at the candy shop, not that I need one at all, really. But it's kind of fun! Oh, did I mention that I like cooking? 'Cause I do."
