» What are a few of your favorite things?
Well, I love mi music. Mi life is all bout dat now. Moving around da city to play for odders. Singin' is mi passion, but instruments, ah... dose are relaxing also. People who like to say dem jokes, I just love dem. Laughter is da best kinda way to win a gal's heart, ya? I don't like dem bossy types too much, ya, but something bout them kind'a gets me all flustered. Now ya got mi all red."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"Kids. I cannot stand little brats asking mi all dose stupid questions. I got no patience for dat kind of thing. Ya shouldn't bodder me when mi get mi thoughts out der. Aye forget easy an' it irritates mi like hell when dat happens. Same t'ing goes for dem older ones dat act like children. A disappointment is what it is. Ya know what else gets mi annoyed? People who do dat fake Jamaican accent? Doncha t'ink it's radder offensive? It also annoys mi when da odder people t'ink dey're bettar dan me. Or when dey underestimate me. Dey don't know what am capable of. "
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Dat mi an' mi band will be stuck playing dose regular gigs back at da local taverns. It's not a good sign for musicians to be stuck in dose kinds 'o places. I got faith in mi group, dough, so worryin' is at de bottom of mi list."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Jus' some plans for de band. Odder dan dat, I have nuthin' else. I'm just a simple girl, ya?"
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"Am a gal wid a lot a thoughts. Often keep 'em to miself. Mi friends are da only ones who I share my deepest thoughts wid. Don't really want to freak out everybody I meet by letting on da t'ings I know. Ah love da music. Mostly ska but any type of music is fine, as well as playing de instruments. Seeing people dance and sing along to de beats is fulfilling. De band knows dat it's not a good way to make money but we got dem plans. People say dat I'm a nice person, one dat often gets along wid most people. Let me tell you know dat dey're wrong. Aye don't believe in fighting with people head on. If der's someone to get back to, aye do it sneakily. Aye make sure dat no one expects mi to strike when aye eventually do."

"A' been living here in Faraway for as long as aye can remember. Not too much musicians. I's a good place for de band to make a name for ourselves. Can't complain."

"Mi fodder an' modder died when aye was a' young. Didn't really get to know dem much. But I got mi family over here. "
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"Back when I was young an' on de streets, living off on mi own. No one I knew, no familiar face. Dat was de worse."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"When dey first taught me how to play de instruments and how to sing. It was like all de problems aye had were always just temporary. It was den when mi music became mi life."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"De band is just roaming 'round da city, playing for da different stores an' odder places dat will have dem. Aye sometimes sing an' odder times I play de bongos, but it all depends. Mi band likes to come up wid a new gimmick for de performances an' aye t'ink that they might be right. What do we do? Not sure mi friends would want de secret out but, let's just say de band's music...it's pretty hypnotic, yah?"
