Ah, how good it felt to be free. Rocky wasn't the type to complain about being cramped in small and cold spaces, but he had to admit, getting out of the prison sure was a great change in his mood. For one, he got to stretch out his legs more. Also, no more having to eat the bad tasting crap that they gave the inmates in the wing. If he had to eat another bowl of that mystery stew, he was going to kill himself. Now, he walked the streets of Faraway rather peacefully, not knowing where it was he would go to. After all, the sky was the limit. No one could tell him what to do. As for the police, well, the could try and apprehend him. He was ready for them. He had been thinking about the FAP during his seclusion, and he had already planned out how he would handle them in case they do arrive.
Walking the starlit streets as a strong gust blew hard against his body, he grinned to the sky, thinking about Gaile and the rest of his team. He was glad that they were all out, and he could only imagine what they were all doing at that moment. Obviously, they were having their own fun, and maybe it was about time that Rocky did the same thing. He took small, slow steps, keeping the night all still and quiet. In this district, all the stores were closed, and there were hardly any people in it, albeit the homeless men mustering some fewer scraps to eat.
"Spare some change?" a teenage girl spoke, catching sight of the man walking alone. He looked at her mischievously. Poor girl didn't know what was coming to her. "Sorry, I don't believe I do," he apologized, continuing his stride, leaving the girl to scrounge back at the garbage can. As he walked he lifted his hand up to his chest and slowly cracked the fingers on his right hand. With each crack, the ground followed. It shook, rather mildly, as it slowly opened up, creating a pit that became increasingly larger as it headed towards the girl. Feeling the tremor around her, the stranger began to scream, clutching at whatever it was she could get her hands on. Rocky placed fingers in between one another, stretching them out as he did so, causing a rather loud crack to break the stillness of the night. A mortified scream followed, right before the girl was swallowed by the earth. The man wiped the dust off of his shirt before turning back to where the stranger had been standing. Nothing. Just some heavy cracks on the ground were witness to what had happened. He couldn't help but smile to himself, trying to remember how good that felt.
He continued to walk, not wanting to break his streak, wondering where he could find his next target. A couple of streets away, he could see some lights flashing matched together with the music of Kevin Rudolf's Let It Rock blaring loudly. He shook his head disappointed. "Kids today." Knowing exactly where to go next, Rocky moved towards the direction of the club, taking his time as he did so. After all, he wasn't in a hurry. Maybe that was exactly what he needed after all. A couple of drinks and some fun.

And Marya was not tired at all. This was partly to do with the large amount of coffee she’d just drunk, and partly to do with the fact she only needed about five hours of sleep per night, thanks to her husband and his relentless thievery. She twirled a dark strand of hair around her finger and considered her options. She could go back to her apartment and spend the night puttering around it, being bored. She could walk around some more and possibly risk being attacked. She could— The ground started to shake. Not very much—she could barely feel it. But it was there. Odd. Marya walked faster. Something had probably made that happen, and even if had just been an accident, she did not want to be anywhere near it. Broken bones were a pain in the neck. Especially if they weren’t broken so much as crushed. Those took forever to heal, and if they healed wrong they had to be rebroken and—well. Let’s just say she wanted to keep all her bones intact. Marya could hear a song playing, and as she got closer, it grew louder. It was “Let it Rock” by Kevin something. Something with an R, wasn’t it? It didn’t really matter, though. The strobe lights from the club flashed, lighting up the street outside. Or rather, making the shadows dance and playing hell with Marya’s night vision. She sped up even more than she already had, almost running. Which was not a good idea when she could barely see, as demonstrated by the fact she promptly crashed right into someone, knocking them both over. All the air went out of Marya’s lungs as she hit the pavement. She pushed herself into a sitting position, managed to get her breath back, and said, “Shit. Sorry about that.”- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: TAGGED: WORDS: 319 LYRICS: Hannah Fury NOTES: CREDITS: Thanks to BUNNYA! at Caution 2.0 (I altered the lyrics and the color)

Rocky made his way to the rather lively place, his path guided by the sound of blaring music and flashing lights. He was rather excited to head on there, knowing that there'd be tons of people, from the sound of it. Each step he took caused a little shake in the ground. It was just as he wanted, making sure that everyone knew he was coming. After all, he was never a fan of surprising people. He much rather enjoyed seeing the frightened looks on those civilians scampering off to somewhere else. It just made the chase so much more fulfilling. The titan had already forgotten how good to felt to just even stretch his legs, and the walking he was doing made him feel all refreshed. It was as though he was a car being oiled after years of being unused. And now, all he needed was a couple more test runs before he could be good as new. Perfect.
He paid no attention to the surroundings around him. Rather, his eyes focused on the ground, admiring it's beauty. It didn't take long before he felt a body crash into his. He got pushed back a bit, but he remained standing, having a good sense of balance. The other person, however, wasn't so stable. The girl fell down to the ground, landing with a rather loud thud. He grinned maliciously, as she apologized. Like an apology would have mattered. He was only a few meters away from the Den, the sound and the lights around it getting even more annoying by the second. It would only be a matter of minutes before he would get there. He eyed the girl sitting between him and his destination, as he rolled his tongue over his teeth. Maybe a few seconds longer wouldn't be too much of a burden.
"You should be sorry, little girl." Rocky took a forceful step forward towards the girl, the earth splitting sidewards from where he had stepped. He could already tell that this would be entertaining. The man rolled up his sleeves, stretching his arms as he did so. He opened up his palms, and began to clap them together. As though in sync with his movements, the ground shook, and two blocks of stone rose up from the ground, one on each side of the girl. As his fingers moved closer to one another, the rocks did too, moving at a fast speed, ready to crush the girl standing in between them.

Pacing idly along the darkened streets, his hands tucked into the pockets of his bomber jacket and hood pulled up over his head against an icy wind that seemed to be sweeping through Faraway City ever since those "Titans" had escaped prison, Chip Potts shuffled down a side-street, a cigarette nestled between his lips. The ember glowed softly against the pit of darkness he stalked down that was an alleyway. What a nice night to meet the in-laws, right?[ Not that the slim blond was particularly excited about the reaction he and his new bride's antics would earn from her "insane father with psychopathic tendencies and over-protectiveness."
Pft. Are you kidding? He'd rather be anywhere else in the world right now. Yet, a part of him knew that for Lilah's sake - and to officially be open about their whirlwind romance (if you could call it that) - then it was important that this happen now. What he wasn't so sure she'd be pleased about however, was him unexpectedly dropping in like this; he hadn't even alerted her that he was coming today. Surprise!
Finally, as the building seemed to loom nearer, the mixed sounds of music blaring, glasses smashing, laughter and muffled chatter reached his ears - typical nightclub. Always someone fighting. And the Wolf's Den was notorious for it, he'd heard. He stepped nearer, glimpsing a couple of figures up ahead before the ground beneath him began to tremble furiously, a loud rumbling noise playing in his ears.
He moved back just as some of the ground began to split, tripping over in his haste, head snapping up to see two large chunks of concrete and earth rise high into the air - how much pot had he smoked? Spotting a female figure upon the ground between the two pillars of stone, he pushed himself to his feet and hurried over to her as the ground seemed to cave in on her from either side. Diving at her before she could be squashed like a pimple, he pulled her out from between the quaking blocks, landing on the other side with a dull thud.
Pushing himself up to sit properly, he raised his brows at the dark-haired girl, before stumbling to his feet and taking a step towards the only other person outside right now - the guy.
"Hey man, what the fuck is your problem?! Why are you just standing there, looking stupid!? Can't be fucked with helping a chick out, can you?"
He paused, recognizing the guy from one of the many posters that lined the city streets. Alarm bells went off in his mind - Titan.

As in, earthquake shake. Well, that plan backfired, she thought, trying to push herself to her feet. Titan, of course a Titan, and of course the one I meet up with is the geology nut— Her train of thought was derailed by the fact two large slabs of pavement had just jumped off of the ground and were about to squish her at high speed. Marya tensed, ready to move, when someone hit her in the back, the momentum carrying them both out of the path of the stones. It was a boy, who looked a bit older than her apparent age, blond, tall. He raised his eyebrows at her, but she just shrugged and stood up, a bit shakily. She hadn’t been in the middle of an earthquake for about fifty years, give or take a couple months. Marya winced as she heard the boy’s words to the Titan. Yes, insult the terribly powerful being who can pull the ground right out from under your feet and then use it to kill you in numerous, painful ways. “Well, aren’t you the knight in shining armor,” she said dryly. “Thanks so much for pissing him off even more.” - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: TAGGED: WORDS: LYRICS: Hannah Fury NOTES: CREDITS: Thanks to BUNNYA! at Caution 2.0 (I altered the lyrics and the color)

Rocky felt generally pleased with himself for what he had done. A loud bang echoed over the blaring music of the club, as a could of dust filled the air upon the impact. The titan felt good, having shown at least one person what it was that he could do exactly. As the dust subsided, he had expected a writhing body and the ground, lying on a pool of blood slowly seeping into the ground, but surprisingly, there was nothing. The man furrowed his eyebrows and curled his lips, forcing himself not to scream in anger, wondering what it was that went wrong. In a few seconds, his question was answered.
Sprawled on the floor was the girl he had run into and a blonde guy, one that seemed to have come out of nowhere. The boy got to his feet and stood up, as though ready to lunge towards him. He didn't mind. He was ready. In fact, he wanted him to attack. Just so he could begin toying with him. Instead, he just threw a bunch of profanities towards him. He grinned evilly. Did the boy not know who it was he was talking to? Clearly, if he did, he would be running away. That or he was extremely stupid. It soon became obvious that the latter was the case.
He reveled in the look of realization that became apparent in the face of the two, finally realizing who it was that they were talking to. He was hurt that they didn't recognize him earlier, but Rocky just figured it was probably his haircut that confused them. He laughed silently at his own joke, before glaring over at the two.
"You should listen to the little girl there, kid. You wouldn't want to make a bad impression," he warned them. Not like it would have mattered anyways. Having them stand in front of him like that was like asking him to start doing some target practice. And that was just too good a temptation to resist. The man titled his head to the right, cracking his neck as he did so. A large tearing sound filled the air as the ground shook once more. As though following the titan's lead, the earth split into two, the gap in the middle slowly becoming larger and larger. He stomped forcefully on the ground, causing a tremor to occur once more, hoping to knock the two off of their feet and into the pit.

Chip began to slowly back down once the realization had hit him like a freight train, but snapped his head over in the direction of the woman he'd just rescued, frowning deeply and beginning to feel pissed off despite himself. Even if he had baited the Titan further, he'd still gone out of his way to help a stranger. That wasn't his style, so why she wasn't grateful was beyond him. He gritted his teeth.
"Well geez, sorry I even bothered to save your damn life, girly. Next time, I won't bother!"
Yes, even in the presence of a terrifying escaped Titan who was more than capable of destroying him to within an inch of his life, Chip always had to have something dumb to say. Dragging his dark scowl away from the woman to the side of him now, he faced the Titan and raised his brows at his comment. Did he just-? He did!
"Hey hey hey, whoa man. Now I am not a kid. And I wish people would stop calling me that", he replied through gritted teeth, taking a step closer now and forgetting just who he was talking to, taking the comment way more personal than he should have. "Also, why are you terrorizing this place of all places? If you're as hard as you seem to be - and hey big guy, you do look like you work out - then you'd find a bigger and better place to destroy. Like...uh...the Police Department? Yeah! Those guys helped to incarcerated you! Why not punish them?"
Okay, so Chip had lost it. He was stalling for time, but for one reason only; the love of his life, that bitter wench he called a wife, was inside that building. The last thing he wanted was for this Titan to go in there and destroy the place, like the Ice one had destroyed the Outlands. As much as he hated to admit it, he cared a lot for Lilah Wolfe to see her or her family's business fall to ruin. He might just have to cut a bitch.
Watching the Titan, who seemed nothing short of amused by the pair of them now, Chip felt the earth beneath him quake furiously and his eyes bulged as the ground split down the middle before them. He teetered on the edge, close to falling in to the massive pit beneath the ear. Shit!

She relented a little, though. He couldn’t possibly know. She didn’t exactly look like she’d have survived the rocks. “Okay, look, you didn’t save my life, you just saved me a hell of a lot of time.” She winced again as she heard him start talking to the Titan once more. “Omigod, I swear…”The boy was trying to redirect the Titan, she realized. Get him away from the club. Maybe just plain altruism—although why he figured the police could handle the guy, she didn’t know—or maybe because he had some kind of personal interest in the club’s safety. Probably the second one, although he really wasn’t doing a very good job. Yeah, and you think you can do better? Marya thought sarcastically to herself. Right, good luck with that. The Titan tilted his head to the side, cracking his neck, and a giant crack opened up in the alley floor. Marya backed up against the wall quickly—she didn’t see how deep the newly-formed chasm went, but it could take her years to dig her way up, maybe decades. The boy seemed about to fall in, teetering on the lip of the crack. “Someone tell me why I’m doing this,” Marya muttered. She jumped forward and grabbed the boy’s collar, yanking him back from the edge of the pit. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS: TAGGED: Rocky, Chip WORDS: LYRICS: Hannah Fury NOTES: CREDITS: Thanks to BUNNYA! at Caution 2.0 (I altered the lyrics and the color)
