"Nah, Dustin's just perfect. Can't stand being called 'Dusty,' so please, if you can contain yourself, don't."

"Do we really have to go there? Let's just leave it at old, shall we?"

"John Barrowman? Yeah, once in awhile. Must be a good looking guy, if you ask me."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Being a djini. More than that, being a free djini. I can grant my own wishes now, how sweet is that? Uh, well, I also like people, and what can I say - I like being liked. I've taken up a bit of a modeling career lately, and I can't get enough. Love the attention. It's an amazing change from being cooped up in a little lamp, never seeing the world, or being seen by anyone."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"Being confined. Had enough of that for several lifetimes, thanks. Lamps too... I'm not so psycho about them as Jenson, but the still rub me the wrong way. Oh, and people demanding things of me. After millennia of being forced to grant wishes, well, you could say it gets a bit old."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Going unnoticed. Pretty pathetic, right? But, hey. I was born for more than being locked away, only coming out when called. I've gotten pretty used to my freedom, too, so if I were to become enslaved again...it may kill me."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Explore the world! Check things out, and just do things of my own free will. God, that feels good to say. I wouldn't mind it if my modeling career picked up either, though. Hell, I'd love it, really. Might dabble a bit in acting too, maybe. Who knows! The future's an open book for me now, all I really want to do, is enjoy it."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"About me? Ah, well, if you insist! ;] Aside from being a bound genie, there's not too much to tell about my early life. It was actually just a millenia ago that I was freed, so that's where my story really starts. I was a wanderer for a looooong time. Still kind of am, you could say. Gotta experience everything you can, right? But, like I said, lately, I've been doing a bit of modeling work, and damn, have I found my calling there! I mean, you can't let looks like these go to waste, right? I guess I'm a little concieted, but after being shoved away, out of sight for so long, it feels damn good to live in the light. Sun, and spot, if you don't mind."

» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"Well, that's a tough one. I mean, I know I must've come from somewhere before that lamp, right? Right? Had to have gotten in there somehow. Someone or something had to bind me to it...but I can't remember. Anyways, life in the lamp is the best I can do for you. If you can really call it life, that is. It was pretty terrible. I didn't mind so much, when people found the lamp, cause then I could be out and about...even if it was only because I was bound to serve whoever had my lamp...But sometimes it was years and years before someone new would stumble on my prison and let me out again, however briefly.
So, in short, yeah. Hated it."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"Not really. I mean, all Djinn are kind of related, in a way, so I suppose they count. There was this one in particular...met him a few years back. I'll be damned if I ever forget him. The man was one hell of a lay.
Uh, anyways. Where was I?
Oh yeah. Djinn. Once we're freed, we're almost even more 'related' than before. Especially by human standards. You see, they stick us all with the same last name: Delampe. To remind us where we came from, and keep us humble, or whatever. That being said, don't assume one way or the other when it comes to us djinn. That's never a safe bet."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"My worst memory...well, aside from being trapped in that hell of a prison, there was this one man...who, uh, found my lamp. One twisted son of a bitch, and believe me, I've seen some sick fucks in my lifetime. He made me help him rise to power...which wouldn't have been so bad, right? Except the things he did with his power...god, still give me nightmares to this day. I...no more specifics on this one."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"My first taste of freedom! What else? Welllll, there was one other thing...if you want to call him a thing. But, uh. Freedom. My freedom. The moment it happened was a blur, still is, but I remember the feeling right afterwards. Like I could do anything. And, hell, I could! But that force that was always there, always pulling me back to my lamp, my prison, my hell...all of a sudden, it was gone. Zip, zilch, nada! And I was FREE! For the first time I could remember, I didn't have to go anywhere, stay anywhere, do anything, or answer to ANYONE but myself."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"What am I doing with my life? Enjoying it, of course. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I've got a decent modeling career going for me in Faraway right now. It's a pretty sweet setup. Pay's not bad either, not that it really matters. Genie, remember? Don't really need money. But, uh, it is nice. I've got a pretty sweet setup in the Tower, nice, luxurious, all that. I still like to wander, though, so don't be too surprised if I'm gone from time to time. Still a whole world out there! Gotta be something I haven't seen yet, am I right?"
