Isis walked slowly down the path towards the Outlands. She'd spent many a night couped up in prison, and she was raring to do something. She couldn't sit still any longer, and the fact that Kat had finally released them gave her such a new outlook on evil deeds. Something must be done to this town. People had gotten much too comfortable with the solemnity of this town. She, nor her cohorts, could handle it any longer. Laying low and doing nothing. The so-called "villains" of this place haven't being living up to the expectations set on them by the Titans. It was time that something be done, and a point must finally be made.
She wandered around the corner, stalking silently. Even though it was four in the morning, this was basically a whore house, and she was counting on someone being around. She peeked around to the entrance of the building. No one was guarding it? Well. This "Scar" fellow wasn't the brightest bulb, was he now? She smirked. So far this was easy. This was just another prime example of how the "Villains" in this town couldn't get anything done by themselves. It was pathetic. She was sure that she'd heard of the "villains" actually sparing people! Imagine that. The society of villainy would be ashamed.
She meandered over to the door, easily freezing the lock right off. She strode into the building. Glancing around the dark room. Oh, how great it would've been to have Berns with her. Just so she could have the fire. Light was necessary for a job in the dark. It just made sense. Being that she was ice and he was fire, they didn't do many things together. Unless they wanted to blanche someone. She chuckled silently. They'd done that before. A rather entertaining thing to watch if you asked Isis.
She heard a noise, and saw a light coming from down a corridor. She pressed herself up against the wall, waiting for the person to come around the corner. As they did, she wasted no time in grabbing the person by the arm, and pulling them to her. She smirked as she saw the fear in their eyes.
"Y-you're the p-person from the w-want ads."
She could practically smell the fear rolling off the young woman she'd taken hold of. It was refreshing. It'd been too long since she'd stared into the eyes of a feared soul. She smiled a wicked smile. "The Titans have returned." Afterwards the iciness came over the young lady, and she froze to the core, finally completely exploding from the solidity. Isis couldn't contain a laugh. She looked down at the pieces of ice that were all that was left of the young lady, and she stepped on one. "Too bad you'll never get to tell anyone."
She ascended the stairs, making sure to walk as quietly as possible. She froze the steps along the way, making sure that if someone were to enter, it would be nearly impossible to follow her trail. Isis figured once she made it to the roof, she could completely encase the building in ice, and once that was finished. It would be easy to punch the place in.
She found what she believed to be the stairwell to the roof and climbed up them. She honestly couldn't believe it had been as easy as it was. It was almost like there had to be catch. But she didn't believe so. Mostly because the "villainous" owner of this facility hadn't proven himself smart enough to consider having a trap. Not that it would be much of an obstacle for her. She made her way onto the roof, making her way to the edge and leaning precariously over it to look at the city streets below. She wasn't that high up. She could jump off and it wouldn't be any danger to her.
She laughed once more. "Poor Faraway. Sleeping tightly in your beds and not knowing what's coming to you. If only you'd been warned beforehand. You can blame your villains." She said to the air before walking back to the center of the roof. She took in a deep breath as streams of ice flowed from her palms. She could feel the ice forming on the roof beneath her. She smiled and closed her eyes, waiting. It would take a while to freeze the entire place, even as small as it was. She started humming to herself.
After a while had passed, she opened her eyes. The building was covered. As she walked, she felt as if she were on the middle of a frozen lake. Perfect. She thought to herself. It was going to be a piece of cake bringing the place down. She descended back down the stairs. It wasn't frozen inside, but since she'd probably frozen any cooling and/or heating systems in the building, the inside area was just as cold as the ice itself. She exited the building, looking at her work from a lower view. It was spectacular. The ice was gleaming in the moonlight, and it would look beautiful if it wasn't so... evil. Isis smiled again.
She saw a trash can by the side of the curb. She went over and picked it up, staying there so that she could gain momentum. Isis swung the trash can around a couple of times before releasing it. It land smack dab in the middle of the structure, and it all came smashing to pieces. It was wonderful to see an entire building come crashing down within seconds. Her work was a lot faster than the other Titans. And she enjoyed it that way.
She stayed at the site of the building for a little while longer, just taking time to bask in the glory of it all. And even take a little roll in the remaining ice.
