Hello, Wendy Moria Angela Darling.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Wendy is fine."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"18, since February Fifth."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Rachel Hurd-Wood. Yes. It has been mentioned."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"I am very fond of my younger brothers John and Michael. I've been told I'm a little protective of them. We were always close growing up, and I loved telling them stories, usually about pirates, and mermaids, and magic. I am fond of shopping, trying out new hairstyles, and the color blue. I like romance novels and moves, but only the ones with happy endings. I like a little bit of adventure on occasion. But I know that adventure only last so long, you have to go home and get back to normal things. I don't like that part so much, but
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"Being forced in to things. I will grow up on my own time. Theres no real rush for me to become an adult. i'm pretty sure I have plenty of things left to do before I'm an old man, no matter what my father thinks. People with temper problems are also on my list of dislikes. There is no reason for anyone to get so terribly upset. I'm also prone to jealous when other girls move on guy I'm interested in. I know its not his fault, but it usually upsets me anyway. So I dislike that too.
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Growing up to be like my parents. My Dad is an angry, workaholic, who rarely listens to anyone else, and my mother is a house wife who lets my father have his way every time and has no desirable role outside of Mrs. Darling and being our mother. Family is important, and work is important too, but neither one should be the entire focus of one's life. I'm just afraid that I'll become one of my parents.
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"I want to have some adventures of my own. Travel for a while then maybe write a book. Then I'd find someone who loves me, respects me, and will spend the rest of his life with me. I would like to have a few sons, I think I would make a wonderful mother, but not quite yet."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"I grew up in a relatively well off family. I have never had to do with out. I had a complete family, a mother a father, two younger brothers, and a nanny. I would say I'm a relatively happy person, I try to be positive and not get too angry, though its hard. I try to help other people when I can. I am a little bossy especially of John and Michael, but it's only because I care about them and feel I know whats best. I suppose I have been known to be a little stubborn."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I am from London. I liked London well enough. I went to school, played with some of the other children in the neighborhood. Nothing too terribly exciting happened there. I guess it was alright. I'm not so attached to the place I miss it terribly, nor do I hate it so much I wish it never existed."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"I have a father George Darling, who is a very angry man who desires nothing more in life than to have everyone's attention and be successful. We're not on the best of terms, as I refuse to do what he wants me to and I'm sort of shirking off College for a minimum wage job in a town far away.
My mother, Mrs. Mary Darling, was kind enough. Though we were more raised by our nanny than by her. I guess she's okay, but she didn't have the relationship with her husband or us that I want to have with my future family.
I have two brothers John, who is 17 and Michael who is only ten. Growing up we were all very close. John and I more than Michael. I looked out for my brothers in school, took the blame for things when our father was upset, and told them stories before bed every night. I couldn't have asked for two better younger brothers. John is very bright and well mannered. Michael is a little spoiled as the youngest, He and John tend to bicker, and I have to mediate. But things never really get out of hand between us."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"When I was about twelve, my father and I got into a terrible fight. I was playing with John and Michael and our pirate game got a little out of hand and ruined one of his best shirts. He told me I needed to grow up, threatening to send me away to my aunt Millicent to teach me to be a proper lady and that I wouldn't be allowed to play with my brothers anymore. We decided to run away together and never grow up. Only London was bigger and scarier than we thought when we weren't out with an adult. We ended up terribly lost and there was a very scary man with a black beard and what we could only guess at the time were pirates who tried to kidnap us. We ran but it only ended up with us getting even more lost, before we were found by the police and returned home. It was terrifying, but kind of exhilarating."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"Any of our days in the nursery. Tucked up under the covers with a flash light telling stories till late, late at night in the nursery. Or making forts out of sheets that became pirate ships or underwater cities or a dragon's castle. Those are the best memories ever. I miss being a little kid. Everything was much easier then. I know we can't stay that way forever, but it was most definitely the best time of my life hands down."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Right now I'm very busily disappointing my father by not going to college and living in Far Away. Earning my own money for the first time is a little strange. I spend my days working at the Candy House, and my nights working at the Sherwood Tavern, and any free time I have working on my novel. It's not what I'm used to by far, and its definitely not what I want to be doing, but it pays my bills. My father keeps telling me to get my life together, but I'm not really interested in his life for me. I want my life to be mine. If I succeed or I screw up I only have myself to blame. One day at a time. It will get better soon, I'm sure of it."
