Hello, Aurelia Dawning.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
Simply "Aura" will do. At least, that's what my fans know me by, and that's all that truly matters anyway since they're the ones buying my records and making me shine brighter than the second star to the right.
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
I'm twenty two years old; hardly a baby, though try telling that to my agents. The way they flap their gums about the "real world" and how dangerous it all is, you'd think I was still in diapers. I'm old enough to leave the Tower on my own, surely.
» I see, and you're in what member group?
"Princess" seems fitting, considering I'm like royalty in this world. But I'd rather not be in a group, if I'm being honest. I'm tired of labels.
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
Jessica Stam? The model? A few times, I mean, we've been clubbing together before, but only in the VIP places, not in The Poison Apple or anywhere cheap and nasty as my agents like to call them. But yes, a few people have remarked on a resemblence between us. I'm flattered, she's divine.
» Thanks! Slipped my mind. Now, do you know the super secret code word?
"der r no roolz"

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"I love singing; I could do it all day. In fact, I do, seeing that it's my profession. I also enjoy a nice warm bath and long walks through the woods - whenever I manage to sneak away from the Tower that is. I like to follow a good beauty regime, by getting a lot of sleep at night in preparation for the day ahead of me."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"I dislike people who treat animals/other creatures with a lack of respect - it's their world too, you know. I also have a terrible fear of needles, but being a voluntary blood donor, I've slowly begun to overcome this."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"My greatest fear would be letting others live the rest of my life for me. I've always been obedient and patient as far as my agents are concerned, because I know that they're just trying to look out for me, but sometimes a girl has got to be free to make her own choices. Even one as famous and adored as I am."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"I hope that someday I could be seen as more than just some gold record on the wall or a trophy in a cabinet. I'm not shallow and I'm not conceited like your average pop icon; I have a brain, and all I really want is the chance to prove that I could make a real difference in the world, other than fixing peoples' bad music tastes."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"This should be great. A chance for me to describe what sort of person lies beneath the fame. Well, as a child I was very obedient and worked very hard to make my name in the music industry without allowing myself to become distracted by other things, such as boys, friends, and the likes. This is something I've always regretted, because now that I'm older I want these things really badly; it's like, I'm trapped in someone else's dream. I love singing, but I never truly cared about pursuing it as a career. So, lately I've begun to rebel against my agents and publicists' strict rules. I can't help it, sneaking away from the Tower is just completely exciting.
As a person, I'm completely trusting and sweet-natured, with a certain doe-eyed innnocence you might say. Being confined to such a high-profile lifestyle tends to take it's toll on me, and I can become quite sensitive, to say the least. I've held back for so long, but now I'm beginning to notice the cracks in my rose-tinted world and now I'm beginning to question everything. There's so much that I would love to do, and as time goes on, I'm becoming less dependant on those around me."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I was raised in a cottage on the outskirts of town to a modest but caring family. I loved it; there was less pressure at times, and it was a welcome break from the overwhelming atmosphere of city life."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"Only my parents, but nowadays I hardly get the chance to see them; the price one has to pay for fame. I love them, and they only wanted what was best for me, but often I feel angry towards them for being so pushy and thrusting me so willingly into the spotlight without letting me experience a proper childhood. It's one of myy biggest regrets in life."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"The time when Mallory Dagan threatened to stab me during one of her infamous "rages" because I'd postponed a concert due to illness. I told you she was insane."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"When I was little, about six or seven, I was practising for my singing lesson in the garden while my parents were indoors. I stumbled across this group of boys and girls my age, all playing a game called "Hopscotch." They invited me to play with them, and even although I was extremely shy due to the way I had been brought up, I plucked up the courage and joined them out of curiosity and interest. Something as simple as that is probably my greatest living memory."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"An only child in possession of gifts such as beauty and a talent for song, my parents and I would travel to the city so that I could compete in beauty paegants and talent shows / singing contests. I was a natural, often coming in at First Place and winning trophies and ribbons galore. I didn't have many friends, because my parents wanted me to bring success to the family and the only way of doing that was to work hard and be the best. Eventually, when I turned sixteen and had my agents behind me, I was spotted by one of the scouts of top record producer, Mallory Dagan at Forbidden Records.
Under pressure by my parents, I signed up even against my agents' warnings that Ms Dagan was tricky business; one of the harshest in the music industry, like a female Simon Cowell, you might say. Anyway, Dagan made me the star that I am today, but to be honest, as glitzy and glamorous as it is living in the Tower and having everything I could ever wish for, I'm not happy. I'm currently engaged to star Hockey player, Phillip Kingston. He's nice enough, but it's been on the cards since way back."
