Hello, Nadia Jasmine Nasri.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"My name is Nadia Jasmine Nasri but you can just call me Jasmine. It's what I have always been called. You see I was named after my mother but my father didn't want me to be called by the same name so that's where Jasmine comes in. I know it's a tad confusing but it would make more sense if you were there for it all."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"Well let's see, I was born April 14, 1990 so that would make me twenty. Soon to be twenty one."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Victoria Justice? Yeah I get that all the time."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Hmm, things I like. Oh, I love to read. It's something I have loved to do since I was little. I like the idea of being taken away to another world by a good book. I guess I can add learning new things to that as well because usually when I read books I learn things I didn't know before. It's fascinating. I also guess I might as well get the nerdy part of me out of the way. I love History, English, and Science. They are my favorite classes. I feel like those three are the classes I get the most out of. Meaning they don't have those boring teachers who repeat themselves all the time. Some other things I can just list off would be photos -- black and white to be exact --, shopping, sweets, mint pies, star gazing, going for walks, fireflies, spring time, and being with friends."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"And now for the things I dislike. Well for starters I hate being picked on. People have this thought that since I am from a well to do family that I am automatically horrible or someone who is weak when I am not. I hate rudeness. I can't stand it when someone is being rude on purpose just because they think it's going to help them get their way. Let me just do some simple things. Spiders. I don't like them nor do I like bees. I don't like thunderstorms, losing a thought, or failing. I don't like being wrong either. I have this sort of thing where I like to be right and when I am wrong I feel like I have lost control. Wow, I guess I may be a bit of a control freak now that I think of it. Can we move on to another question?"
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"My greatest fear? Well there's a scary question for you. You have to relive it all over again. I have this fear of disappointing my father. All my life I have tried so hard to live up to his expectations. Now my father isn't some mean oaf or something. Nor is he strict but I always feel like I must be right at his standards. Perfect I guess. It's moral thing. I mean I will be the one to take over the family business once he passes so I have big shoes to fill. That's what scares me."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Honestly, I just wish to be happy. I want a little more excitement in my life too. I am not aloud to live on the edge and be spontaneous because people are always watching. Another thing is I hope to please my father."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"What am I like? Well I supposed I am like everyone else. I am kind hearted. I tend to give everyone a chance. If they do something to ruin it it's not my fault. I am very intelligent. I like to study and further my knowledge on random as well as important things. I am fairly independent. I'm responsible. I have been told I am sarcastic and I can be blunt at time. I guess that all fits in with my ill-temperedness too. I tend to get annoyed very easily. Especially when someone is being a nuisance. But all in all I am a very loyal and trustworthy friend. Bubbly, I am bubbly too. I guess that's why I have so many friends. Um, I really don't think this talking about myself. It almost makes me feel conceded."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I am originally from India but my father is a diplomat and well as a hotel/casino mongrel so we moved here when I was around the age of six. I really liked India. It was my home after all. We had this huge house. I can remember running around and getting yelled at by the house staff for knocking things over and trampling over stuff that was important. Yes, at times I miss it but I am glad where I am now."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"No siblings. Yes, I am an only child. My mother never had anymore children after me, obviously. When I was about five years old she passed away due to a rare flu that swept through India. Ever since it's just been my father and I. I think it's safe to say my father and I have a very tight relationship. He is my best friend. I trust him with everything and he is pretty much all I have. I wouldn't say I am spoiled rotten, but I do get everything I want. And when I say rotten I mean it hasn't effected my behavior or my standards on things. But, yes, my father and I are very close and we have a very nice and typical father/daughter relationship."
» What is your worst memory?
""Hmmm, well that's not too hard. It's actually kind of a sore subject for me. My worst memory would be the death of my mother. My father told me that she was extremely sick and that he feared she may not make it. I was told I wasn't allowed to see her because he didn't want me to get sick. But she was my mother. If this was the last time I could see her I had to. I remember I snuck into her room and leaned down on her bed. My knees on the floor and my head laying on my arms. Her sheets were light, a silk material to try and cool her from her temperature. She looked at me. Her warm eyes took me in like nothing was wrong. That's when I started to cry. I told her I was so scared. I didn't want her to leave me. That's when she told me she would always be with me no matter what happened. Then she proceed with telling me that she left a gift for me in my room. Before I could ask her what it was someone entered the room. It was my father and the doctor. My father gave me a stern look and told me to go to my room. It was obvious he had been crying. I said 'I love you' to my mother and she replied the same comment.
"That was the last time I ever saw my mother. I remember that night like it was yesterday. The present she left for me was a necklace. It had our pictures in it and it was engraved with our initials inside of a heart. I haven't taken it off ever since." "
» What is your best memory?
"Well I don't exactly know if this would be called a memory but it was something that happened not to long ago. About three days ago actually. I was wondering around the market trying to avoid some people and there he was. This boy. Oh sorry, man rather. We caught eyes and I could feel my heart stop but beat fast at the same time. It was the strangest feeling but I need to meet him again. There is just something about him.
"But an actual memory would be the first time I went to New York. I remember it so well. I was fifteen years old and my father was there for business. I automatically tagged along because I had been bothering him about going to NYC and luckily for me that's where he was going. I had always heard about New York from my teachers and they taught me a few tings and ever since I had always wanted to see the Big Apple for myself. I remember standing in the middle of Time Square. Just looking around. I was speechless. It was better then anyone could have ever described. I know to most Americans a trip to New York is nothing but to me it meant so much. I had never experienced anything like it and it was somewhere I had been wanting to go for such a long time. It beats California and London by a mile."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Right now? I am living with my father on Faraway Island. We have been for a while now and I like it a lot. The people are nice here, well some of them and I don't know it just feels so alive. It's exciting to me. But as for what am I doing with my life I am studying political science and marketing to please my father but I much rather be out having fun. It's hard sometimes to be the daughter of such a wealthy and powerful man. You must always do the right things, say the right things, be in the right place at the right time. It get's rather annoying. But I am warming up to it, I guess. I just sort of wish there was something a bit more to this life. Something fun."
