Hello, Phoebe Templarr.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
How about I take you out to dinner, and afterwards, you can call me anything you want? ;) Ha ha, but I guess if we’re being serious, friends tend to call me Phoebes (like the classic metropolis), and my old squad… used to call me Captain.
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
Twenty-three. I’ve been in the forces since I was eighteen, and was promoted to Special Ops when I turned twenty. Now, though—I’m out. I just came back from a two year tour, my contracts up, and… I’m out. Which reminds me-- I’m also “out.” Part of the reason I won’t be going back.
» I see, and you're in what member group?
I could be your Hero, if you want me to. Are you into rescues?
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
Keira Knightly? Thanks, she’s hot! I’d totally make her “thank you SO much for last night” pancakes, if you get my drift. I also kind of like the idea of being “Knightly,” think it suits me—don’t you?

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
I like having sex with women. Okay, look—I know that sounds shallow, but let me just clarify for a second. I genuinely like women; not because of their bodies, though those are amazing just by themselves, but I think the feminine mystique is alluring and beautiful, and it fascinates me the life that lies within each of them. It might sound cliché, but I generally fall in love with women because of their personalities, even if it’s not a “rest of your life” sort of love. Each one is unique, you know? And I respect that. Never think that just because I don’t want a relationship doesn’t mean I don’t love and respect any of the women I sleep with—because then, you’d be wrong. I’m not a commitment type, but I try to be a gentleman, and my main hope is that—that I can make them feel alive, if only for a short while.
I also like a good brawl and good alcohol. Fair fight though—none of this ganging up on a guy (or girl) or smashing bottles and chairs over his head. I’ve got my bike, an Achilles XGT as well, which is about the only material thing in my life I’d give any value.
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
War; discrimination; death. I’ve seen enough of it. It’s not something I need to see any more of. That part’s over, and I’m never going back—now it’s time for fun.
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
… Hurting others, I’d guess. Of getting to the point where I purposefully want to hurt others; or to the point where hurting them doesn’t faze me anymore, where it’s just part of the job.
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
Nah; why plan? Your life could be over tomorrow. If I’ve learned anything from my years on tour, it’s that. I just plan to have as much fun as I can for as long as I can have it.
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
Sure; I’m Phoebe, I’m charming, I’m ex-military—crack shot actually, and I can definitely take care of myself—gayer than a fruitcake and therefore not exactly religious but you know, if that’s your thing that’s cool too. I’d generally consider myself a “live-and-let-live” sort of girl, and I make an AMAZING morning after breakfast spread. Do most of my work around town as a bouncer at clubs, though occasionally I’ll run messages on Achilles.

[/sup][/blockquote][/blockquote]So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
I grew up on a farm; very, you know, pastoral. Not much of a life after school, though, so I went for a military scholarship, and managed to get college paid for while running drills on GTA missiles at the same time. When I got out at twenty-one, I was promoted to a Special Ops team, and sent on a peace-keeping mission to Bumfuck, Middle of Nowhere in some desert. Apparently “peace-keeping” was a little more violent than it sounded. There were some days where it was boring as hell, and others where we had so many skirmishes I honestly think it’s a miracle none of my team nor I wasn’t shot up.
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
I had a mom and a dad, who were pretty typical, low-key parents. They had me pretty old, though, so they’re both in an old-folks neighborhood back home. Afterwards, I considered my squad members family. They’ve got so much dirt on me I could be buried a million times over, but luckily, I’ve got about the same amount of dirt on them— you’d be surprised how good Esposito looks in a dress.
» What is your worst memory/memories?
… Towards the end of my tour… everyone was supposed to have evacuated, you’ve got to understand this. There was this town… we were told to lace it with C4 and then make it go ‘boom.’ All we were told was that intel knew there was a lot of violent activity centered in its warehouse district, maybe even an explosives facility, and that all the civilians were already evacuated. No one was supposed to get hurt. We were supposed to go in, deactivate the incendiaries, and burn the thing down so it couldn’t be used again. Command gave the order. Then everything went up in flames…
Not everyone was out. To this day, I don’t know if they’d been hiding, if we’d just missed someone, or if command had just not bothered to tell the civilians who were in the district, but it was horrible. People running out, running for safety from the buildings which had been consumed by fireballs, only to be gunned down as they ran….
Three months later, my contract was up, and I left.
» What is your best memory/memories?
Probably the first relationship I ever had. Her name was Emma, and I met her during my first year of tour. We must have gotten drunk because I can’t imagine any other way it would have come out about my, er, preferences, not back then. I mean, even I had barely figured them out. Anyway, our relationship lasted for about two weeks before our squads were separated, but it really opened my eyes about a lot of things. I’d really never felt so comfortable, or so comforted.
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
Just living; either bouncing, partying, or riding my bike. I’ve got a modest flat in town, but I’ve never got more than the next month paid up. I’m just seeing where life takes me.
