Vitani didn’t make a huge habit of taking drugs, in fact she hardly ever touched them. If the same thing could only be said about drink and other people then she’d be your normal twenty year old. She had a problem of having too much time on her hands and doing all the wrong things with it. Evading her family was her main priority, which was harder than it sounded, they had contacts all round the city and it was hard to find a place where she introduced herself and someone didn’t say ‘Oh yeah, you’re Scar’s daughter.’ It wasn’t like they carried the same family name or anything, he hadn’t married her mother; then again who would?
At this present point in time Vitani was doing what she normally did at some ridiculous time in the small hours of the morning - prowling through various streets of the city looking for something cheap to do. Hopefully drink, she didn’t particularly like the taste or smell of weed, but it was inescapable now that she was deep in the winding alleyways of the underbelly of the city. Literally anything and everything happened in these dark alcoves and dingy apartments where she skirted round; people sitting or lying in the street, sometimes together, completely intoxicated with drugs. Most people had taken their hit by now and simply regarded her with listless eyes, some calling out random words or asking half hysterically if she could sell them anything. She pushed on, not speaking to anyone.
She was dressed reasonably down, plain jeans that hugged to her figure with heels and a black jacket. Nearly all of her clothes were black, or dark coloured. As a general rule she didn’t like bright colours, they were too gaudy for her liking. Raising one hand and clawing through her untidy hair half heartedly the alleyway she was currently on bought her out onto one of the bigger streets. Whilst the rest of the city slept, this place was always alive. Vitani dully realised where she was and glancing blearily up at the hotel above her, crossed the road without checking for cars and entered the main lobby. Surely there was a bar somewhere in this place.
Finding a spare place on the bar she hopped up onto a stool and waved for the bartender. There were a few people left in the bar, mostly in couples but it didn’t deteriorate Vitani’s confidence. She could feel the alcohol leaving her body and needed to replace it. “Rum and coke please.” She said, slapping her money down on the table and rested her head on her hands as she waited for her order to arrive.

Her features contorted into a scowl as she took a step to the side, narrowly avoiding the drunken grip of a stumbling man. Ugh. For the umpteenth, she rolled her eyes, wondering why she had decided to walk to her destination, rather than use her magic as transportation. The answer, of course, was the same every time; it would attract one hell of a lot of unwelcome attention.
And on a slightly vainer note, she looked good tonight, and had wanted to show off. Dark leggings, and a charcoal grey dress that was barely fit to be called a shirt, and knee-high boots with just a high enough heel to make walking a bitch rounded off her outfit for the night. And, oh, she had been getting noticed...just not by anyone she would be noticing. Regardless, she did enjoy the attention de temps en temps, and surely it wouldn't hurt to turn a few heads where she was going. It was the plan, actually.
A relieved sigh escaped her lips as the street began to widen, and the luxurious, if a little gaudy, Agrabah Hotel came into view. She quickened her pace, suddenly becoming acutely aware of the slight chill lingering in the air from the winter air. Early April nights still had a bit of a bite to them. A chill ran up her spine, causing the blonde to shiver and curse under her breath. "To hell with it..." she muttered, shaking her head, and with a few words, and a burst of energy, she was in the hotel. In the bar, to be more precise. Behind the bar, she realized as she took in her new surroundings. "Well that's just bloody brilliant..." She patted the dumbfounded bartender on the cheek, sparing him a wink and a smile, before vanishing once more, and re-situating herself on the proper side of the bar.
The warm air was quite the welcome change from the cool temperatures outside, and with a small smile, she sat, glancing about, cataloging the other patrons. 'All in pairs...' she noted, much to her disappointment. 'All except one,' Gabbi arched a brow as she took in the slumped-over form to her left, a bemused smile gracing her features as she realized the form was a familiar one. "Fancy meeting you here," she jibed, intercepting the younger girl's drink as it was delivered. 'If only she knew just how much younger she really was...'

It was that horrible feeling of coming down from the highs of being completely wasted, when you know in a couple of hours you’ll look like the living dead and feel like one too. Blue eyes stared listlessly at the smooth wooden counter in front of her, not really caring that she was by herself any more. In fact, it was a miracle she had made it to Agrabah Hotels and realised where she was. Even in her state Vitani could spot the exotic building anywhere. She tended to avoid the place, it was usually full of B-list celebrities and their trashy whores they had picked up, but booze was booze. She wasn’t going to look down on the clientele now she had a drink in her hand.
Or should do. The service was rather slow, and it wasn’t even busy. She lifted up her head to only find a dumbfounded bartender standing there, pouring out her drink and looking like he had seen a ghost. She raised a hand, waved at him and gestured to the drink, her eyebrows narrowing in impatience before she set her head back on her hands again, trying to ignore the thudding headache-y feeling that was coming on. As per usual, she was doing nothing tomorrow, so it didn’t matter too much, but Vitani hated feeling under the weather as all people do. She should really be getting sleep, but she found drinking through it is much more effective.
Had she looked up a little earlier she would have seen the blonde appearing unexpectedly behind the counter, but she hadn’t; so drummed her fingers along the bar counter as she heard a familiar voice to her right. Despite herself her lips turned up in an amused smile as she lifted her head up to eye Gabbi who was sat next to her. “Well why not?” She grinned. Sure it wasn’t her first choice of bar, but it didn’t matter now because she had someone to talk to. Her eyes casually traced Gabbi’s figure, more out of habit rather than anything, then noticed that the other girl had her drink.
Vitani raised an eyebrow, waited for a moment. “Are you intending on giving that back to me any time soon?” She asked coyly, her fingers creeping along the counter until she reached where her drink was. She then curled her fingers delicately around her rum and coke above Gabbi’s fingers and gave the glass a gentle tug, her other hand weakly attempting to tame her dishevelled hair.

It was a perfectly valid question; why should she be surprised to find a young woman--who she had known to drink--in a bar, but not one that would be receiving an answer any time soon. Her acute awareness of Vitani's eyes on her made sure of that. Catching her lower lip between her teeth, Gabbi tried to bite back the smile that was threatening to appear, causing the very corners of her mouth to twitch upwards, just ever so slightly. She vaguely considered responding, but her voice was lost somewhere within the void of her thoughts, and to be honest, she was content to remain silent, and let the younger girl do most of the talking.
The next question caught her slightly off guard, and she responded by arching a perfectly sculpted brow of her own, nearly mirroring Vitani's expression. A hint of movement caught her eye, and brought a small smile to her lips, as she watched the girl's hand make its way slowly but steadily to her drink. "And if I'm not?" she questioned dryly, the barest hint of humor creeping into her voice. She held the glass fast against the small tug from the girl seeking to reclaim it, and her expression shifted ever so slightly, smile becoming more wry than amused.
Turning on her stool to face the dark-haired girl properly, she leaned in a bit, bringing her free hand up to run through the girl's short, unruly hair, messing it up further. "What'll you do about it then, hmm?" It was a ridiculous argument to be having, especially if taken at face value. Of course, Gabbi had no interest in the drink itself; she could easily conjure one for herself, or even buy it from the bartender. No, it was the owner of said drink that was actually at the center of her attention.
From what she could tell of the girl so far, she was a bit of a wild-child. She knew that her father was Scar, who owned several of the buildings and businesses in the town, and that she was opposed to finding a job. But other than that, she was a complete unknown. And that intrigued her. After a few centuries, there are progressively fewer and fewer things that you genuinely know nothing about...and after a point, those unknowns become a precious commodity. More than that, though, Vitani...actually, come to think of it, she hadn't the faintest idea what her last name was...was clearly a strong personality, and on top of that, she was gorgeous.
So, really. Was it any surprise that Gabbi was so interested in her?
Giving her own slight pull on the glass, she grinned, sweeping the strands of hair she had been playing with behind Vitani's ear, ghosting her fingers along the girl's jawline as she retracted her hand, dropping it to sit idly on the bar, as she waited to hear just what would happen were she to neglect to return the booze.

There was something very interesting about Gabbi. Vitani followed the imprint of her teeth tugging down on those soft lips of hers, her mouth threatening to smile. It was almost cute, perhaps it would have looked cute on someone else, but the blonde gave off this impression that didn’t suggest cute at all. She didn’t look or act innocent enough, and Vitani liked that. People who kept their slates clean all the time were boring and she couldn’t relate to them. The brunette paused, glancing up at Gabbi devilishly as she spoke, and slackened her grip on the glass, but didn’t let go. Seeing as she had just paid for that drink, she didn’t particularly want to have it thrown all over the bar.
This conversation was making her sharpen up better than any alcohol could. Gabbi required concentration, in a good way. She was unusual and that made her downright sexy, although Vitani would have still screwed her anyway for being hot even if she was boring. Luckily she wasn’t. She grinned. “Well I suppose that’s one way of me buying you a drink.” She teased. She had seen what Gabbi could do, she didn’t let the blonde forget the incident when she had lost her clothes, but she had the feeling that the other girl was doing this to irk her. Fortunately Vitani liked being irked.
Her feelings of intrigue and mild irritation were temporarily lost as Gabbi’s other hand settled into her hair and began to play with it. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she subconsciously leaned ever so slightly into the touch. Vitani’s hair was interesting. She never did much to it, tended to hack bits off of it when she got drunk and when it got too long for her liking just lopped it off and hoped for the best. There were frequent occasions she found herself taking a trip to the salon to get it sorted out. Gabbi’s hand soon left her hair, along her jaw line and back the way it came. Her eyes, which had softened, sharpened again and she smirked at the blonde. A nice touch, now she needed her drink back.
Her fingers were still curled around her glass, although she had relaxed her grip since Gabbi wasn’t prepared to give it back just yet. With her spare hand Vitani rested her elbow on the counter and propped her head up on her hand, giving them a little more privacy and also allowed her to lean in or away as much as she liked. Because she happened to be a bit of a tease like that. “Well, such an offence like that deserves punishment. You wouldn’t want that to happen now would you?” As she said this she allowed her fingers to entwine with the blonde’s in a playful manner. It was a probing question, because she didn’t know much about Gabbi at all. She was a hot blonde question mark that Vitani was determined to figure out.

A light laugh was the enchantress's initial response to Vitani's comment, swiftly followed up by a quirked brow and a faux-offended "You're not implying that you wouldn't otherwise?" Another bizarre addition to their already bizarre conversation, but the concept of the girl buying her a drink, under any circumstances, seemed a bit ludicrous. Especially considering the fact that Vitani had gotten more than a little taste of when Gabbi was capable of. Even if it had ended with an incredibly naked girl. Not that she was complaining, per se, considering that the girl in question was absolutely stunning, but it had put her in an awkward situation. And those were certainly not the circumstances in which she had hoped to get Vitani out of her clothes. Ah, but perhaps there would be time for that later. Hopefully.
Catching the small sigh that escaped the dark haired woman, Gabbi's idle hand twitched, fighting the temptation to resume playing with her hair. Seeing the tension and irritation disappear from her eyes, if only for a second was somewhere between frightening and beautiful. It seemed incredibly out of character for the girl, from what Gabbi had been able to discern so far. Or, maybe it was just something more to be learned about her. Either way, the loss of the harsh barrier, no matter how fleeting, had made her seem impossibly younger, and the blonde was struck by a twinge of guilt. For as little as she knew about the girl, Vitani knew even less of her. Barring any shocking revelations, the enchantress was sure she could guess at the girl's age, within a few years... The opposite, however, definitely could not be said. Her expression darkened for a fraction of a second, before schooling her features into a small smirk, and pushing her superfluous thoughts to the back of her mind. They could deal with that when it came up...if it came up.
Of course, the moment hadn't lasted long, and within seconds, she was back to the fiery, flirtatious female Gabbi had come to expect when dealing with the younger girl. "A punishment, hmm?" she questioned, quirking a brow, as a mischievous smile spread across her features. "Well, then," she started, taping her free hand against the glass, causing it to vanish, leaving just their fingers, entwined. "What'll this get me?"

Laughter is infectious, and she couldn’t help but smile lightly as Gabbi laughed and irked an eyebrow mockingly. Ironically Vitani didn’t smile that much at all - it was unusual to see her crease brow and scowl replaced with a grin. But at the right time with the right company, such as now, she could let go a little bit. The brunette rolled her shoulders in a lazy shrug. “I don’t feel the need to bribe people into sleeping with me for the sake of a drink.” She said with just a slight hint of arrogance, a taint of pride in her tone. Naturally, if there was someone she was eyeing up who needed a little intoxication to get them fully interested then she wouldn’t hesitate. But from the little she knew of Gabbi, she wouldn’t need any of that.
She found Gabbi incredibly easy to be around. Their first meeting had been strange to say the least - ending up with a loss of clothes and a literally out of body experience on Vitani’s part. If that had been almost anyone else, she would have found it extremely hard to face them again, let alone speak to them. She was almost wary of magic, partly because she couldn’t do it and also the fact that the few experiences she had had with the stuff were mostly negative. It certainly helped a lot that she was attracted to Gabbi, hence eager to pursue her despite what had happened, and the fact they got on reasonably well too. She could just add that particular encounter to her Bacchic like lifestyle and hopefully see a bit more of the blonde, on a sort of friends-with-benefits deal. Or at least that was the impression Gabbi was giving off.
It was much better to stay single anyway, or at least that was Vitani’s moral. She had already had one nasty relationship break-up and wanted to avoid that happening again on all costs. Besides, when one wasn’t tied down to anyone in particular, the possibilities were endless. Such as this one. She briefly caught her companion’s face change for a moment, then back to her smirk again. Such an enigma, that made her even sexier. Part of Vitani wanted to find more out about the blonde, the other half wanted to keep it a mystery in order to keep her intrigued; or at least for now.
She didn’t pull away as the glass vanished, leaving her hand pleasantly cool where the cold glass had been, except now all she could feel was Gabbi’s soft palm against her own, which she much preferred. She caressed the other woman’s fingers with her own, before pinching them playfully. “Well, I was looking forwards to tasting my drink…” She said, leaning in as if to kiss Gabbi but at the last moment pulled away to the blonde’s ear, nipping the lobe mischievously. “But I suppose I’ll have to find something else to taste…”

The blonde quirked a brow at the girl's matter-of-fact response, leaning back slightly to regard her lazily. "Bit cocky, don't you think?" she questioned seriously, with only the faintest hint of teasing evident in her voice, giving away the fact that she wasn't quite as serious as she let on. She cocked her head to the side, eyes never leaving the younger woman, before she continued. "And what makes you so sure that you're within my standards, hmm?" The phrase was finished off with a smirk, and another arched brow.
Not that she had any intention of coming out and saying it -- at least not just yet -- but it was fairly clear that Vitani was well within the realm of what would pique her interest, both by her standards on looks, and personality. And, of course, just how little she actually knew about the woman. It just kept coming back to that, and she decided, then, that getting to know Vitani, and learn more about her would be her second priority for the night. 'Getting to know her' may or may not have taken the spot as the first.
Vitani had infected her with a level of intrigue and curiosity that she hadn't felt in years, and the pull she felt towards the other female was nearly palpable. She wondered, idly, if perhaps that had been what had led her to this particular bar tonight. After all, magic was a bit funny like that... A bit of a sixth sense that would occasionally dictate little things -- like what bar she drank at. The feeling became all the more intense, as the glass vanished, replacing the cool, hard feeling of the smooth glass with the much warmer, softer, and smooth (in quite a different way) sensation of Vitani's hand.
Her heart rate sped up noticeably as the other girl played with her fingers, then moved in as if to kiss her, before pulling away. She tensed up slightly, not at all amused by her body's reaction. Especially as Vitani bit lightly at her ear. Her breath caught in her throat, and she could feel tension of a different kind building. Blinking hard, she pursed her lips. She was a nine hundred and seven year old enchantress, for god's sake! Not some hormonal teenager.
Her eyes fluttered closed without her permission, and a soft sigh escaped parted lips, before she got her damned body back under control. She could only pray that her actions hadn't been obvious enough to give her away, but unfortunately, she doubted that Vitani would fail to pick up on the signs. As the younger girl's words finally sank in, a smirk spread across her features. "Oh? Have anything in mind?" she questioned cheekily, skimming the pad of her thumb along Vitani's knuckles. Then, leaning away slightly: "Or, I could always buy you a new drink." She finished the statement with a shrug, completing her air of complete indifference. She was going to give as good as she got, and by no means make this too easy on the brunette.

Her dark blue eyes, trained for catching the subtle movements of body language caught Gabbi leaning back lazily, and raised an eyebrow of her own in return. Yeah it had been cocky, but it was true. Small talk and politeness strategies were a load of bull - if someone genuinely was up for it, she would know straight away. It could easily be said that Vitani was nearly always confident about potential bed notches too, after all, what could be the worst that could happen? She might get turned down? It didn’t matter, whenever a door closed another opened, although she had the feeling that the blonde in front of her had no intention of leaving her cold.
She gave Gabbi a half shrug, her pink lips twisting in a smile. “And?” Confidently she allowed her lewd eyes to travel up and down the other girl’s body with relative ease before settling back to her face. “Well, if I’m not,” She began softly, almost dangerously, “You better speak up now.” She finished. Almost challenging Gabbi to think differently; after all, when they pretended not to be interested it made it much more interesting. Either sex that was, Vitani wasn’t fussy, as long as they were hot.
Gabbi ticked that box. Plus she happened to be someone that so far, the brunette enjoyed being around. What more could she ask for?
That reaction was exactly what she was after, she was used to seeing Gabbi playing it cool, so to get her worked up like that was definitely something new. She heard the blonde’s breath catch in her mouth and smirked in spite of herself. “Something wrong?” She asked coyly, whilst her lips were still at Gabbi’s ear, almost mocking the other woman for her reaction. She settled back to where she had been before, idly tracing her thumb across the smooth skin of Gabbi’s hand, her wild eyes basking in the triumph as the blonde sighed and struggled to get back under control.
Of course, she had left herself open for comments in her last comeback, but she welcomed it. Not planning on giving too much away at one time Vitani merely tilted her head to one side ever so slightly, dragging her nail ever so slightly across Gabbi’s hand. “You’ll have to wait and find out.” She said with a carnivorous grin. Most likely, the blonde probably had a pretty good idea of what Vitani had in mind, but it made their game so much more fun.
She couldn’t help but let a look of disappointment waver over her face as Gabbi offered her another drink. She glanced back to Gabbi, a small smile lighting her features. “You could.” She said matter of factly, her hand nimbly disentangling itself and now began to trace playful circles on Gabbi’s arm. “But we both know that wouldn’t be very interesting at all.”
