Hello, Gabrielle Rose Dubois.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Gabrielle is fine. A select few call me Gabbi, and even less, Rose."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"907."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Billie Piper? I do hear that quite often. She is quite attractive, though, so I suppose it's a compliment."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"I love flowers, and magic. And, often enough, I'll combine the two. Well, I used to do that much more often that I do now, but that's a different matter entirely. I've come to enjoy the finer things in life, while still loving the simple pleasures, like reading a good book, and listening to music. I adore cooking, and it's one of the few things I'll do entirely without the aid of magic. Cleaning up after cooking, however, is a different story. I'm not a nympho, but I do enjoy sex quite a bit. I've got fairly high standards, though, so good luck. (; "
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"I'm usually in a pretty good mood, so not many things bother me. Being called a sorceress or witch is one of my biggest pet peeves, though. Along with womanizers, and people who don't show respect where it's due. Things used to get to me a lot more, but after awhile, you just get too tired of it all to care anymore."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Dying. Horrible as it may sound, it's true. I've lived so long, I'm not sure I'd know how to let go.
(But sometimes I think I've lived too long already.)"
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"I'd love to have a family...but I know it can never happen. I'd continue on as I always have, and always will, never changing, never aging. I'd outlive them all, and have to sit idly by, and watch as my children died...No. No, it can never happen."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"I'll ignore that. I am an Enchantress, and quite a powerful one at that. I've lived hundreds of lifetimes, in different places, exploring the world. I used to be a champion of the light, using my powers to punish the wicked, and reward the good. It was a simple existence, but not a bad one. After a while, though, it grew tiresome. Mortals are such foolish beings, so ignorant, and obstinate, and unwilling to learn from their mistakes. I suppose you could call me cynical, but I call it being realistic. I've given up on 'fighting the good fight.' For now, I'm just fighting for myself."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"From France, originally. And it was brilliant. I lived just outside Paris, in a much smaller village, for my childhood. Of course, back then, France was quite different than it is now. Very quaint, very simple, we did what we had to. My father was a farmer, as were many at the time, and my brother, once he was old enough, went to Paris to become a scholar. I must admit, I am quite fond of Paris, and the rest of France as it is now. I've changed with the times, just like the country. I wouldn't quite say I miss things the way they were."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"I had a brother, Bastien...he was a few years younger than me, and, god, I resented him at first. He was good at everything I had failed at. A natural scholar, strong, smart, independent. He made our parents so proud. And me, too, beyond the jealousy. When he was of age, he went to study in Paris. He was brilliant, he had to work for it, of course, but he really did make us all so proud. Ah, sorry, I've said that already. Just get caught up in the past, sometimes. Anyways, I would visit him whenever I had the chance, and we would exchange stories, he'd tell me all about these far off places he was learning of, and I'd show him my budding magic. He met a girl there, while in school. Well, a few, to be honest, but only one that really mattered. Constance. They fell in love, and soon started a family. A family that I watched over as it grew, and changed, and added new members.
Over the years, the bloodline has grown so vast, that I can hardly even keep track of it. I do still check in on certain descendants of Bastien's...though they have no idea who I am."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"My brother's death. It wasn't...bad, per se, he lived a long, happy life. Died at 67, which was nearly unheard of, at the time...but with him growing and changing constantly, while I stayed the same...it made me realize that I was destined only for loneliness and pain. Especially if I ever made friends, or fell in love...I'd always outlive them."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"My best memories are from my first lifetime. Things were different back then. I was innocent, and untouched by pain and loss. Every day was an adventure. Every lesson learned, a new triumph. The very best moments, though, were the stolen ones. Especially the afternoons when my brother would sneak away from school, and the city, and we would visit the banks of the Temps. We'd talk for hours, about anything and everything, and I'd practice my magic for him. Those days were as close to perfect as life ever got."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"Mm, well, I've done odd jobs, over the years, in addition to my magic, so I've got quite a bit of money saved up. For the time being, I'm just hoping to enjoy myself. Leave behind my nine hundred years of baggage for a bit, and just be. Not sure how long it will last, but everything in this world is fleeting. Why should happiness be any different?"
