Hello, Robyn H. Loxley.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Robs, Robyn, Loxley. Surname-nicknames are a must where I'm from, especially if you don't know someone too personally. It shows respect."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"Twenty-eight, and still fighting the good fight. "
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Rose Byrne."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Not unlike most women, I favor a clean home. I can't deal with messes and there's only one rule in my cottage; you spill it/break it/dirty it, you clean it up. That being said, I'm not the least bit fussy when it comes to my own appearance. It's really not difficult for me to keep on top of things. I favour good hygiene practices BUT, given my line of work then it's definitely not numero uno on my agenda; if I get dirty while on the job, then I can live with it.
I won't freak out over broken nails or muddy clothes. I actually sorta like it. You could call me the outdoorsy type, since I spend all of my time outside. I always knew that going camping regularly with my folks when I was younger and taking part in outward bound activities would stand me in good stead. Although I'm not the least bit vain or a big fan of jewellry at best, there is one exception; my wedding ring is very dear to me. Even so much as touch it and I'll stick one in your head."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"Not a fan of those prissy celebrity types. They earn millions for purely entertaining people, while the real life-savers out there barely get even a crust off that kind of salary. The injustices in life *sigh* No wonder the crime rates have soared if folk aren't earning enough. They're gonna turn to a life of petty crime. Clue up, people in charge!
I can't stand bullies and the likes. You got a problem, then sort it yourself instead of taking it out on the innocents. Mind you, I don't have much time for pushovers or lay-abouts either; grow a backbone you spineless cods. I hate it when fights are uneven and when people take advantage of certain situations. Last but not least, I can't go people who over-sympathise when something major happens in your life. It genuinely irks me because they're not helping you feel any better and they're just keeping the subject on your mind. Laugh, take me out drinking, tell jokes but do not go off on a long winded discussion about how "sorry" you are.
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"I had to deal with that already, but now I'd say it's never getting back the kind of life I used to have, and never again feeling the way that person made me feel when they were alive."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"I want to help people who have suffered or gone through the same level of grief that I've had to face. I want to make a difference for the sake of those less fortunate - but not in a Mother Theresa kind of way. That's not how we kick it up over at The Sherwood."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"I'm a natural redhead, so I'm a fireball by nature. I don't fly off the leash at just anyone though, and I have a bucketload of patience around new people unless they wrong me. Being confident and brassy to an extent, you could say I was a born leader; which if a good thing, considering I've taken over my late-husband's "business". I'm the kind of woman who prefers archery and wood-crafting over painting my nails and getting my hair spruced up. A sort of DIY lady, you might say. I never depend on anyone too much, but I like being the one to drag people out of the ditches when they're feeling low. I like to take action against things that don't sit well with me."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"Here in Faraway. I was born a city girl, but when I married my husband - who was from the outskirts of town - I went to live with him. It's where I feel I truly belong in the first place, but it doesn't stop me venturing into the thick of it all from time to time."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"It's just me now. No children; my parents are deceased'; in-laws also deceased. I was married to the love of my life for seven wonderful - and admittedly, often trying - years before he was cruelly taken from me."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"The day I went to view my husband's body. That wasn't how I wanted to remember him. It still haunts me, even to this very day and I think it always will."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"My wedding day, like all blushing brides. It was very low-key, we'd eloped because we didn't like a fuss. Everything about that day and night just seemed perfect. Too perfect."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"I'm the leader of an all female "gang", I guess you could say; we're outlaws. The Merry Widows, formerly The Merry Men (our late husbands). We dwell in the countryside, and our headquarters is The Sherwood Tavern - me being the owner and propertier. Our husbands, all young men in their prime, died during a brutal onslaught by the corrupt armed forces of Faraway. Their mission in life was to take from the "rich and famous" what rightfully belonged to the civillians.
They were often united in protest against rises on taxes and standing up to the abolishment of money benefits for the lower class/working folk. In respect of their memory and hard-work, our duty is to live up to their expectations. I don't have time for much else, since my heart and soul goes into the Widows. I'm also living with this burning desire to go after those responsible for my man's death and have at them with a chainsaw - things get crazy, and so do people. I'm all for revenge."
