Hello, Eilonwy Mona Geraint.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Eilonwy" is a good enough start. It's Welsh you see, and is pronounced "Ay-Lawn-Wee."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"Twenty years young."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Mattie Krall? I get that often."

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Chatting - my aunt Archen says I could talk the hind legs off a donkey but to be honest I don't see what the big deal is. Better to talk than to stand around looking stupid; it breaks any tension, I find. I also enjoy sewing and have even made some of my own clothes. I suppose entering the fashion business could always be an idea, if I didn't have such strong opinions on forced child labour laws and the mistreatment of animals. I love making friends, though most of the time they do seem to grow tired of my babbling after a while. Such a pity, because I'm actually very nice once you get to know me. I love my dog, Gurgi and being free to roam around outside. I'm skilled at archery, which I enjoy, and last of all, I adore magic. Being from a long line of enchantresses, it's in my blood. I'm still learning, however it's no secret that I'm talented."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"I dislike people who are evil for no particular reason; I could see the point if someone had done something dreadful to you, but to just go around being wicked for the sheer hell of it is pretty low. I also hate it when people are sexist, and especially when men underestimate us girls. I'm a bit of a feminist and I believe that times have changed and women deserve the right to have the same freedoms as men do. I also dislike it when I'm purposefully excluded from an activity, particularly if it's to do with something I enjoy or am curious about. Rats scare me, but only when they jump out at me by surprise. I'm not so keen on traitors or thieves either, for obvious reasons. I absolutely detest being cooped up inside for extended periods of time and I hate it when guys think they have the right to paw at me."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"I don't really have a proper fear, but I suppose losing a friend would count. I'd be devastated."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"I can't wait to become a powerful enchantress like my mother, and her mother before her. I have the potential and perhaps I can help others to realise theirs too."
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"Well, I'm a free-spirit. I don't take well to being told what to do all of the time and I'm not some "damsel-in-distress." I'm very good at fending for myself thank you very much, and helping out my friends when they're in trouble. I have quite the temper and when someone angers me, they'll soon know all about it. I go into huffs and can be quite sarcastic and snippy at times, but with good reason. This tends to disappear quite quickly however, because I constantly remind the person that I'm mad at them, therefore breaking my vow of not talking to them. Although I can be quite harsh when I'm upset due to my sensitivity, I'm generally a bubbly person."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I'm originally from some kingdom named Llyr, though I don't remember much about it. I've lived here in Faraway with Aunt Archen for as long as I've known."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"I rarely see my parents. My father is a traveller and my mother, an enchantress from a very noble and rich family with links to royalty. She'd run off to marry my father, and then they had me. When I was six, I was sent to live with my Aunt, who is really a bit of a wretch - I have no idea how it's possible that we're related. Though I have to admit, I do appreciate her help when it comes to expanding my powers. I have no siblings."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"The time I ran away from my Aunt's house and was lost for a couple of weeks. I tried for so long to get back but stumbled into the path of some petty woodland criminals who kidnapped me and tied me up. I suppose it was quite scary, but then my bauble helped me to escape - though not before putting up a fight. I HATE being tied-up. It's dreadful. I had burn marks on my wrists for a whole week. "
» What is your best memory/memories?
"The day I got my bauble; it's been with me since I was a little child, and although my Aunt says that I have a long way to go yet as far as my magic is concerned, I always knew that I was special at that point."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"I'm currently working as a scullery maid part-time at Monstrotti's Restaurant. I enjoy it, because it keeps me off the streets and out of trouble (sometimes) and the money is alright. Also, you get free meals too, which is great. I live in the city, but occassionally spend time at my Aunt Archen's bungalow on the outskirts of Faraway where she teaches me about magic and I, in turn, clean her house."
