Hello, Sally Finklestein.
» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"Just Sally, please. I don’t know what you could really do with my name, anyway. Sal? Ly-ly…well, my uncle, Dr. Finklestein likes to call me ‘Stitch,’ but that’s really reserved for him."
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"Actually, I’m not quite sure. Parts of me are a certain age; others are a tad older…but I suppose I look around 28."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Claire Forlani. Yes, I have heard this, and it’s quite the compliment!"

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Well, that’s kind of a tough question for me, given that I enjoy a lot of things. But if you insist…I’m definitely a fan of my needlework, but I suppose I’d have to be, given that I plan on opening my own tailoring business. I’m quite good at it, you know, so if you have any dresses or pants to be hemmed or fixed, just let me know! Just don’t tell Uncle; he thinks all those trips to the local shops are to get material for his clothes.
Other than that, I’m definitely a fan of longs walks, wide open spaces, sunsets…oh, anything that has to do with the outdoors. One can never be too active!"
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"Hmm…well, I’m definitely not a fan of people who curse too much, or are prone to violence. I also don’t like overly loud noises and raised voices; it grates on my nerves, I’m afraid. Oh, and people who yell at children! What’s the point of bringing a baby into the world if they’re just going to start squawking like crazy?
…And now I’m probably babbling. Drat."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Being cooped up in one place for too long. It must be a claustrophobia thing, because small spaces make me crazy. I’m never a fan of violence, but…well, you’ve been warned. Sorry in advance."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"To open my own tailoring business, like I mentioned before. It’s going to be named ‘Sally’s Fashion Stitches’…or something utterly suave and sophisticated like that. I’ll have my own little shop, away from Uncle Finkelstein’s laboratory, so that the clothes don’t smell like rat intestines and cyanide, and there’ll be a wide, open courtyard in the back. With a hammock, so I can watch the sunset…oh, and trees! Willow trees, because those are my absolute favorite…though, I wonder if they could grow around Halloween Town. And…well, maybe there would be an empty seat next to the hammock, where a certain person could…sit…um…
Once again, I’m probably babbling. Double drat!"
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"About me? Oh, well, I don’t want to be too arrogant sounding, or anything…but I suppose if it’s necessary? Alright, then. Well, I’d like to say that I’m a nice, gentle person who likes to look for the good in people. I’m also quite shy, and I really dislike talking about what I’m thinking or feeling. When people pry, I tend to change the subject or find an excuse to leave. I also have the tendency to ramble on a bit, as you’ve probably learned, and I’ve been told that I’m much too curious for my own good. It’s a burden sometimes; someone tells me that I can’t possibly do something, or I get that ‘what if?’ stuck in my head, and BAM! I need to sneak outside of Uncle’s mansion and find out for myself. It’s a syndrome."

So far so good. Now for history.
» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"Well, some parts of me have to be from other places- ooh, there goes that itch to explore again! Stop me!- but I was never told where. As for me, Sally, I reside in Halloween Town. It’s a very interesting place, but it does get a bit dull. I would love to see the rest of Faraway Isle, but…well, you never know.”
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"Just my Uncle Finklestein, who’s…well, he’s kind of my father, given that he made me, me. Uncle is a bit on the domineering side and he’s a tad overprotective, but there are ways around his need to keep me safe.
And then there’s Mr. Jack Skellington, Uncle’s sometime assistant, who helped make me…me. He’s very nice, and…er…um. So, how about that weather?"
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"The first time I woke up on Uncle’s operating table. Talk about frightened! Everything seemed all dark and peaceful, then HELLO…unfamiliar people practically smooshing their faces into mine, to see if I was awake. It was not a happy memory."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"The first time I made a suit for Jack. Oh, it was wonderful! I’d always enjoyed making things, and the fact that he asked me to do it…ha, it still gives me happy tingles. It’s what gave me the idea to open my own shop and get my courtyard. I will have that courtyard, someday...hmm? Did you say something?"
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"I keep myself busy making sure that Uncle Finklestein doesn’t blow up half of Faraway Island, and doing mending work for Halloween Town’s citizens. It’s not my shop with the hammock, but it’s one step towards it, and it keeps me quite busy. When I’m not working or playing the talking hazmat suit…I’m usually wandering around Halloween Town, and daring myself to venture outside it. One day, I tell you! One day!"
