» Is there anything you would rather be called?
"I've been given a few monikers over the years; "Skeleton Jack", "Bone Daddy", "The Pumpkin King." Please, just call me Jack.
» Great, now that we've got that covered. How old are you?
"Twenty eight years old - and staying that way."
» You know, has anyone ever told you that you look exactly like...?
"Wes Bentley? I know already"

Let's talk about your personality.
» What are a few of your favorite things?
"Smoking is an old habit of mine; I've tried to quit but no success. Like most other men, I also like to drink; though I don't abuse this. Scaring others is something of a hobby; well, they don't call me "The Pumpkin King" for no reason. I also enjoy experimenting with Science and magic; I tend to spend a lot of time at home, working on some ... erm ... project or other when I'm not taking a long walk around town. My usual haunt is the graveyard. I also enjoy riding my motorcycle."
»That's interesting. Is there anything you absolutely dislike?
"I dislike people getting in my way when I'm working on something groundbreaking; I tend to shut these people out. I also dislike cowards to some extent. Being who I am tends to scare people away, not that I'm overly affected by this - I like spending time alone. It leaves more room for inspiration. Also, I prefer to steer away from the Church."
» Hm, what is your greatest fear?
"Fear? That the world will run out of "fear" and people just won't scare as easily, of course. Aside from this, nothing. Well, perhaps I would be quite put-out if something I was working on didn't quite go according to plan."
» Yeah, that is scary. Do you have any dreams for the future?
"Being the most feared and sought after man around Halloween Town sort of leaves little else to be desired. I do dream that I will achieve greatness in a more challenging situation. I get bored easily. For the future, I would like to find my soulmate. It gets quite lonely in my coffin.
» Wow, I hope you succeed. Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
"My neighbours and fellow townsfolk see me as some sort of mystery, but one which they idolize; I don't understand, because I too find myself a mystery sometimes. All I know is that I'm dead - or undead rather - although how this came to be, I have no recollection. My life in Halloween Town is all that I've ever known, and I've stopped questioning it by now. I'm quite intimidating on the outside; I have a wicked but dark sense of humour - I delight in frightening others - and I suppose I do possess a certain "bad boy" appeal . However, on the inside I'm actually not so bad. Just a little distant. I'm quite brave, though occassionally reckless. I have a short temper, which keeps the more tricky villagers in check."

» So tell me, where are you from? What did you think of it?
"I dwell in Halloween Town - on the other side of the dark woods. I'm at peace there, but it's always nice to venture away from it from time to time."
» Do you have any other family? Parents? Siblings? Extended? What do you think about them?
"No one. I can barely recall any, now that I think about it."
» What is your worst memory/memories?
"If I could remember my death properly...I guess it would be that."
» What is your best memory/memories?
"There is one. But I don't wish to discuss it."
» Where are you now? What are you doing with your life?
"When I'm not conducting experiments at home or visiting the city and seeing the charming "sights" in Faraway, I'm working the graveyard shift, in the town cemetery or helping to organise the next year's Halloween celebrations. Sometimes there's trouble that I need to fix, but situations like these are easily remediated. I spend some time drinking in The Poison Apple, when I'm in the city, but I definitely wish that there was more to my death than this."
