Meet A Blast From Your Past! (AL/TINSLEY)

She couldn't believe that she and Al were actually going to be able to get all of those people back together. She knew it was going to be next to impossible to track these people down. Some of them didn't want to be found. They wanted to be lost in the crowds and Tinsley understood that. She just hoped that they would come out just for this party. Just for this one night where they could all pretend that they were just normal people. They could all pretend that nothing had changed and that they were still the same people that had all grown up together.

"I know Al, but that doesn't mean I can't be so excited!" She laughed and paced slightly, still trying to work everything out in her own mind. " That would totally work! No one can say no to you, and I'm sure that you can get them to agree to whatever we need! This is so exciting! I'm so glad you'll talk to the orphanage, because I wasn't sure they'd even remember me, much less allow me to hold an event there. I'll get out the ad as soon as I can, and this will definitely be an event for the ages!"

She knew that this event was going to be different. It wasn't going to be like any other event held in Faraway. It wasn't going to be fancy and over the top. She was going to try and make it as close knit and simple as possible. She just wanted it to seem like a family coming together for a reunion. Maybe a picnic and games and things like that. She figured that no matter how old they got, everyone would enjoy being able to feel like a child again. Being able to feel like they all fit in once again. Like they all had a family that loved them. Tinsley knew she had always been the baby of the group, so people wouldn't remember her. They would remember Al for sure though. He was a hard person to forget. Having him involved would ensure that more people showed up.

"We gotta figure out the logistics! I was thinking maybe a family reunion kinda thing? Lots of picnicy snacks and pies and what not? Really simple kinda stuff! Just a big ole family reunion."

Al could see it now. The party would be a sweet time travelling experience for him. Just being in the same place after all these years, seeing how much people have grown and changed. It'd be one hell of an experience. That is, if people actually went. And if they would still acknowledge one another. Realistically, Al had a feeling that none of his old friends would be as friendly to him if they met up again. He was rather surprised that Tin didn't end up the same. But her case was different too. She left the orphanage early on. What about those people that Al left behind? Would they be as welcoming?

"Hah! People say no to me!" Al exclaimed defensively, feeling the slight color rise in his cheeks. "I just, er, know how to persuade people. And come on, for sure they'll remember you. You're practically the poster girl for the orphanage. I mean, you did know that they milked your rise to fame, right?" It was a rather annoying thing, actually. He could only imagine how Tinsley must have felt, already being used by her adoptive parents and the orphanage that she once called home. It was only then when he realized that she might not have known about that. He mentally smacked himself in the head, thinking that what he said might have upset the girl.

He wondered how big things might become, especially since Tinsley was handling it. Ever since she was a kid, she had big dreams, sort of like a visionary, and he had a feeling that all her creativeness would burst out as she planned the event. So it took him aback when she mentioned coming up with something simple. Not that he was against it. In fact, he wanted something simple. He just figured that she might have figured that the others wouldn't want things too flashy either.

Al slowly lost track of things when she mentioned pie and other snacks. His stomach lightly grumbled, and he could just taste a fresh and warm apple pie making its way down his throat. Swallowing and realizing that he was just over-imagining things, he let out a laugh, hoping his companion didn't catch any of that.

"I think that'd be great, actually. I think people would appreciate it more. Plus, I know I'd like it to be something simple. You know, something that'll remind us of a time back when we were still in the orphanage," Al replied, quickly realizing how sappy he must have sounded. He continued at once with, "Definitely lots of pie!"
